On a vibrant day in the bustling Futian District of Shenzhen, Block B of Zhongshen Garden was the site of an exciting press event hosted by our company. This event aimed to highlight the quality and versatility of Italian pork products under the OPAS (Organization of European Pork Exporting Countries) campaign. It drew significant attention from the Chinese media, marking a crucial step in expanding the market for Italian agri-food products in China.

The event kicked off with a series of engaging videos showcasing the OPAS campaign and key Italian pork products. These visual presentations set the stage for a deeper understanding of the excellence and heritage behind our offerings. Attendees were introduced to the stringent quality standards and the diverse culinary applications of Italian pork, reinforcing its reputation for superior taste and quality.

Following the video screenings, our representative took the floor to delve into the specifics of Italian pork products. The discussion covered various aspects, including the production processes, quality control measures, and the unique culinary uses of these products in local cuisines. This segment was particularly well-received, as it provided the media with valuable insights into the factors that set Italian pork apart from other products in the market.

The event saw active participation from numerous media operators who documented the proceedings through photographs and recordings. Their presence underscored the media’s keen interest in the potential of Italian pork products in the Chinese market.

Due to PSE (Porcine Stress Syndrome) restrictions, we were unable to offer samples of OPAS meat for tasting. While this was a notable limitation, it did not detract from the overall success of the event. Instead, it provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges and regulations affecting the import and distribution of foreign meat products in China, fostering a more informed dialogue with the media.

The educational value of the event was highlighted during the Q&A session, where participants posed insightful questions about the market opening for Italian products and related regulatory issues. This interaction underscored the media’s genuine interest in understanding the nuances of importing and marketing Italian pork products in China.

To ensure the media had all the necessary information at their fingertips, we distributed comprehensive press kits. These kits included detailed information about the OPAS campaign, product specifications, and the benefits of Italian pork products. The press kits were well-received, and journalists later published informative press releases online, amplifying the reach and impact of the event.

Our press event in Shenzhen was a resounding success, effectively raising awareness about Italian pork products and the OPAS campaign. Despite the challenge posed by PSE restrictions, the event managed to educate and engage the media, laying a strong foundation for future market expansion.

We are thrilled with the positive feedback and look forward to continuing our efforts to introduce high-quality Italian pork products to discerning consumers in China. This event marked an important milestone in our journey, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
